General

In the General section, you can modify the project name and base application url. Exclude paths for coverage can be defined as well as elements to ignore during tests.

Environments

Maintain your project environments by editing, removing or adding a new one as required. All defined tests will be automatically available within all environments. If your provided service URL requires Basic Authentication you can set username and password by editing the environment.

Resolutions

Axcept supports visual testing of different display resolutions. You can define your own resolution or choose from a wide range of predefined resolution definitions.

Please note that a test runner will validate the test for all defined project resolutions. In contrast, a test preview runs only one resolution which can be defined via the resolution dropdown in the test editor. If you are not familiar with tests and test runner, please click here

Cookies

If tests require specific cookies, you can define them within the cookies section. Just add as many key-value pairs as required. Please note that defined cookies are attached to all tests of a project and might influence stored references.

Scripts

Sometimes it is required to run a script before a test gets executed. Therefore you can define a custom script within the Scripts section. Please note that all defined scripts will be executed for every defined test in the same project.
